Curiosity, rigor and passion for research have characterized the work of the industrial design and interior architecture studio founded in 1973 in Padua by Paolo Favaretto for over 40 years. Since the 1980s, the firm has been among the first in Italy to activate working relationships abroad, collaborating with prestigious companies in North America, Europe and Asia. The reliability and competence demonstrated have given rise to relationships that are almost always long-lasting and in harmony with various production companies, together with which the firm has conducted the entire industrialization process for most of the projects. Other values recognized by the Studio are the relevance in the application of materials, design precision and research into innovation in form and function. In 2009, with the entry of the young Francesco Favaretto, the studio’s activity further expanded and today embraces various areas of design, from industrial design to communication, from tangible matter to digital. In the product design sector it ranges from telephony to furniture (seating, lighting, upholstery), from medical to home accessories. In particular, the firm specializes in the design, prototyping and industrialization of office furniture, technical seating (operational, executive) and community systems. Favaretto&Partners supports and practices the principles of Design for All, a declaration accepted by the European Commission and promoted by the IIDD (Italian Institute for Disability Design today DFA Italia), in favor of a design practice that has the objective of guaranteeing the accessibility of places and objects to the widest range of users.
